One of our junior derby members has the honour of been part of team Australia with other junior roller derby players around our nation, representing the Australian junior roller derby world games coming up on France 28-30 July 2023.

That’s right, you read it right. Our Junior Rollers trial was a success and a long awaited addition to our club, now all ages can enjoy the fun of skating.

Yes that’s right the Gippsland Roller Derby Pride Cup is back and is coming to the Warragul Leisure Center (21 Burke St, Warragul VIC 3820) on Saturday 28th of May and we are bursting with excitement.

Well, where do we start. 2020 and 2021 sure have thrown some massive curveballs at everyone with COVID-19 lock downs stopping league training, bouts and SkateFit let alone locking us all inside our homes away from loved ones.

Saturday 15th February 2020, we celebrated 10 amazing years of Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby and Latrobe City Roller Derby.

We marked this occasion with a milestone we've worked incredibly hard for over 3 years - the public launch of our home, the GRRD Shed in Traralgon.

Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby has been closely monitoring the developing situation and uncertainty around COVID-19 and have made the decision to postpone our League and SkateFit training, effective 17 March. Given the shifting situation regarding non-essential public gatherings, we have taken this step to protect the health of our participants, and contribute to flattening the curve.
